Tasting Sicily Enzo's Kitchen is specialised in Authentic Cucina Siciliana.
It is the flagship restaurant of the Tasting Sicily brand, a deli food company offering Sicilian 100% hand prepared and hand packaged culinary specialities to consumers and caters.
Our chef Enzo Oliveri is born in Palermo: he is President of the Federation of Italian Chefs in the UK and official chef for Italy's national cycle team. He creates each dish of his home-cooked food by using fresh high quality ingredients sourced from selected Sicilian suppliers.
He embraces the concepts of the SlowFood movement, which Tasting Sicily helped to be established in the UK last 2015 on the occasion of our conference "Sicilians at the table" at the Italian Cultural Institute. SlowFood Sicilia Presidia, which are products at risk of extinction, can be found extensively in our menu.
Tasting Sicily Enzo's Kitchen offers a wide range of services: Italian style aperitivo, set-lunch menu and in-house buffet menu, available for business parties and private room hire. Masterclasses and show cookings are part of our mission to share Sicilian food culture, which include renewed catering to various outside venues, plus cooking and cultural trips to our beloved Sicily.
Our traditional Sicilian cuisine has a special emphasis on recipes as described by author Andrea Camilleri in his novels and TV adaptations: arancini, pasta with anchovies and cannoli.
We believe in the super healthy effects of the Mediterranean Diet and we recommend it for your everyday eating habits and choices: Sicily offers a fantastic varieties of natural nutrients which are an important contribution towards your daily intake.
