The Providores and Tapa Room was run by co-owners Chef Peter Gordon and Michael McGrath. The restaurant opened in August 2001 and was one of London’s first brunch venues, it introduced the flat white to the UK, was groundbreaking in it’s offering of small plates, a New Zealand only wine list, a smoking ban and great coffee. London’s restaurant scene has changed dramatically since we opened, for the best, and our alumni have gone on to create wonderful businesses of their own.
